Starting to ride.

Sunday 22/3/09 Starting at 8:00AM .. Hari ni my ride is " Balik Kampung Ride". I started at Bandar Putra Bertam, upon sending Asyraf for his Akademi Bolasepak....( I would like him to play football well, but, it does not seemed that way. Now nak sepak bola pun tak begitu cekap lagi, maybe I would have to encourage him to cycle instead ). From BPB, I masuk Bertam Indah, until I join the main road to SP. Wah, there were alot of people cycling today. At the BI junction, I saw a group of roadies ( do not know from where ), but, I dared not join them as I am just a beginner, while those people in that group looked very "professional" already, so, I just followed them. Near Kpg. Datuk, KB, jumpa another group roadies coming from the opposite side. Kita pun cuba berbasa basi angkat la tangan, suddenly, dengar " Hoi Pak Ndak, Hang nak pi mana?"..Alamak rupa-rupanya Ali Batu Lintang ada dalam group tu......Anyway, aku teruskan perjalanan, masuk ikut Bumbung Lima, ride sampai Teluk Manan ( untuk yang tak tau, kpg aku ni dalam qaryah Pmtg. Bendahari..kalau tak tau jugak lantak ler...).
Lepas minum lebih kurang kat Kedai Abang aku ( sekali Mak aku pun ada situ la.), salam dengan mak aku dan chow, this time ikut jalan lain pulak....berenti di SMK Pmtg. Tok Labu tengok bola 9 a-side..jumpa ramai orang baru patah balik kayuh dari Pantai Merdeka rupanya..aku pun follow dari jauh, ikut masuk jalan Lahar Kepar, sekali, jumpa satu mamat tadi dah slow down ( rupanya this Chinese guy is from Sg. Dua )...lepas sembang sikit, aku overtake dia....now I started to feel the 'joy" of cycling..pain on my B%@*&T la pulak, wah really sakit lor...sampai di KB, aku ikut balik Jln BI, bila nak lintas highway tu ada la skit "climbing"..Fuh lepas lebih dua jam kayuh ( dan rehat..) peha aku dua-dua belah dah rasa nak cramp dah.....tapi nasib baik pengalaman dari dok main bola dulu membolehkan aku kontrol skit..maka tak jadi la cramp tu overtake aku...Bila sampai ke BPB, total travelling time aku ialah 2 jam 50 minit....jalan pun rasa mengengkang wo! Jadi hari ni aku kayuh +/- 35KM saja, tapi dapat rasa satu penglaman yang hebat la.......That is the joy of cycling although my bump hurt like crazy.

First Ride!!!

I had my first ride today. Although it was raining very heavily...( memang lebat betui ), I waited for the weather to turn OK so that I could start breaking into it...... Tak pi jauh hari ni sebab baru nak start......Aku cuma round dari TSI ke pekan Kepala Batas dan balik melalui Bertam Indah, lalu ikut Dewan Milennium, tapi tak lalu exactly dekat DM dan IPK ( @ IPD ... tak tau yg mana satu yang betui ) then ikut TSS treus balik.....wooooo..sedap jugak ler rasanya........Tapi satu lesson learnt ialah naik MTB ni, belakang boleh kotor no..habis baju aku kotor di belakang, kalau aku tau, takkan ku pakai baju putih itu..( ewah bahasa.. ). Rasanya OK la kot untuk first ride.......malangnya tak dak gambaq lagi..nanti aku akan cuba ambik gambaq-gambaq....

Suspense jugak nooo..sebenar nya hari ni aku baru dapat " my new toy"...2009 Commencal Normal Disc ....sebenarnya kalau ikut yang sepatutnya model ni cuma keluar dalam warna " Ferrari Red " saja, tapi sebab aku minat warna putih ( mcm yang di bawah tu la..), aku pun bagitau kat Albert ( Oze Cycle Shop ) suruh transfer semua yang ada kat warna merah tu ke warna putih....., jadi bayangkanlah...the white colour bike with Disc brake and the SRAM set, but, I changed the crank from FSA ( don't know what model ) to Shimano Deore.....Looks OK..don't know la how it is like when I ride it later... Today I could not ride it for a long time since I reached home almost Maghrib already.....Well I hope it is worth waiting... At first aku nak ambik LG XC BART PRO, tapi Tok Mulu Gerek Gunung dah racun aku suruh ambik Commencal ni...aku pun ikut la...orang dah experience la katakan........ Chow for now...I will put my bike's picture as soon as I managed to take it............

You must be wondering why I put such a title to this blog..............The reason is:

This is my first blog. I am so happy to join the bloggers' community.

Today the 14th of March, 2009 my Surau Jemaah had arranged a Maulidur Rasul Ceramah by, Ustaz Datuk Dr. Harun Din Al-Hafeez. I was appointed an official photographer ( no lah, I actually I volunteered to do it....). I loved his manners and the way he conducted himself....a very humble person even though there were a lot of people. His ceramah was not about politics ( uh..nowadays I hate it very much..politics that is ), but, it was about how Rasulullah SAW behave and all the nicest things about Rasulullah SAW. How Rasulullah SAW got to be the Habibullah ( Kekasih Allah ) without him asking for it. Ustaz also talked about hoe the Capitalist system had created business people with greed who thought of nothing except how to mwke more money. Well there were many things brought up by him, which I cannot write everything here. Will try to write more later. I am also attaching some pictures from the event, please enjoy them....
